I’m Grace!

A wife, a mother, a photographer and a follower of Jesus.

I’ve been interested in photography for as long as I can remember. As the daughter of a graphic designer, I was messing around on Photoshop CS2 when I was about 11-years old. In 2013, I became more serious about photography and started taking one photo every day for two years as a fun challenge. During that time, I bought my first DSLR camera. In 2015, I started my first photography business, Pictures With Grace Photography. It was a raving success! I was booking seniors, families and couples in North Carolina and having fun doing it! I even got to second shoot at a wedding!

Flash forward to 2021, I had just graduated from Arizona State University with my B.S. in Graphic Information Technology. I was looking for a change of pace, so I decided to join the military as a journalist. Before long, I found myself going meeting new people and growing my photography skills! I was helping tell peoples’ stories every day. That’s when I discovered my love for candid style photos.

Last year, after my husband and I had our first daughter, I decided to start up my photography business—but this time I wanted to go all in! I made the decision to get into wedding photography.

Being a military photographer has taught me how to quickly capture moments as they happen, which is what made me want to start shooting weddings in a documentary style.
